Nakhana Diakite Prats
With multiple master’s degrees in Business Law (Toulouse1 Capitole University) and Anthropology (Musée de l’Homme, Paris), Nakhana Diakite Prats made her debut in the realm of contemporary art with the Francis Briest auction house. She then worked with the famous sculptor, Arman, for 10 years, during which time she developed an expertise in African sculpture and the authentication of 19th century bronze sculptures. She continues to collaborate with numerous artists, including the renowned artist Miquel Barcelo.
Nakhana Diakite Prats acquired her deep knowledge and understanding of art from time spent with key players in the art market: artists, dealers, gallery owners, auctioneers, collectors, and public institutions. These varied and enriching experiences have lent themselves to giving her a keen eye for scrutinizing works of art. Prescriber, Lecturer, curator, and official UNESCO observer for the illicit trafficking of cultural objects, Nakhana D. has cross-disciplinary skills in communication, law, art, and investment.
